Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern website design and related services provided by Dance Site Designs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), run by Shane McAvinchey. By booking a call, sending an enquiry or starting a project, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Dance Site Designs designs and builds websites for Irish dance schools and teachers. Services may include website design and development, basic SEO and Google setup, training so you can update the site yourself, and ongoing website updates through the optional Care Plan when agreed. What is included in a project is confirmed in writing before work begins. See Packages for the standard website.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate information when asked.

3. Price and payment

The standard Dance Site Designs Website is $1,499 (US) / €1,399 (Europe). You may pay in full and save about 5% (about $1,424 / €1,329), or split the price into three payments across the project (about $500 / €467 each: deposit to begin, at launch, and one month after launch). Details are on the Payment Options page. Payment method and full terms for your project are confirmed in writing before work begins. Bigger or more complex projects are quoted individually.

Work begins once the agreed first payment is received. Project timelines depend on you providing materials on time.

4. Refunds

Website projects are custom. Refunds are generally not provided once work has started. If there is a problem, we will work with you to put it right.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide the content needed for the website (text, photos, logos, and similar) and respond to messages in a reasonable time.
• Review drafts and approvals in a timely way.
• Confirm you have the right to use any materials you send us.

Delays in materials or feedback may delay the project.

6. Intellectual property

When the project is paid in full, ownership of the finished website design and the content you supplied transfers to you. Dance Site Designs may show the work in its portfolio and marketing unless you ask otherwise in writing before launch.

7. Care Plan

The optional Website Care Plan is described on the Care Plan page ($99 / €99 a month, with the first month free on a new website). Care Plan terms, including the six-month minimum and notice period, are as published there and as confirmed when you join.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dance Site Designs and Shane McAvinchey are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, business interruption or lost data. Total liability related to a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project.

9. Ending a project

Either of us may end a project by written notice. You remain responsible for payment for work already done up to that date.

10. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy & Cookies page.

11. Third-party services

Your website may use or link to third-party services (for example hosting, payments or studio software). Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, where Dance Site Designs is based.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
